The founders of Share Coffee and I hit it off in 2014, before they had a name. We geeked out about brew methods and IPAs. Right off the bat I was struck by their positivity and drive to make insanely fresh coffee, roasted and shipped in the same day.
Find a unique brand voice—in a crowded space—that resonates with a full spectrum of coffee lovers.
Share Coffee sources amazing coffee beans and roasts them meticulously —and that’s only part of their story. Their desire to make legit coffee truly accessible, friendly, and approachable stood out during our conversations. And the fact that they cup, roast, and ship in the same-day, every time, truly sets them apart. I set out to create branding that would proudly convey their unique combination of quality, freshness, and accessibility.
I wanted the branding to feel instantly familiar, speak to the pride and craftsmanship involved in artisan coffee roasting, and reflect Share Coffee’s friendly culture. Their unique personality is captured in a striking, hand-drawn logo. We developed a bright palette of classic colors to speak to the freshness of the coffee.
For their flagship coffee bags, we used bright pops of color to present two main types of coffee: Comfort and Adventure.
We designed a custom shop to make coffee subscriptions easy and intuitive.
We also designed a family of items to support their brand launch, including silkscreened growlers for cold brew, apparel, recipe cards for different brew methods, and a custom espresso tamper.
